Kristi Whitford , LCSW

Kristi Whitford is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in Florida with 20 years of experience supporting individuals in crisis and through major life transitions. Her work focuses on mental health crisis and trauma, depression and anxiety, stress, grief, self-esteem concerns, addictions, relationship and intimacy issues, and parenting, as well as care for special needs populations and adjustment disorders. Additional areas of focus include adoption and foster care, caregiver stress, chronic pain and illness, codependency, family of origin issues, communication and control difficulties, and other family and relational problems.

Kristi draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), client-centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to create individualized, practical plans tailored to each person's needs.
