About

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor practising in Colorado, with 3 years of clinical experience.

I received my doctorate in Psychology from Grand Canyon University, my Master’s degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary, my Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Medicine/History from Auburn University, and I have completed significant graduate theological studies at Duke University.

I am an ordained evangelical Christian minister through New Horizon Ministry since 2006, and I am affiliated with the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI).

How I Work

My clinical approaches include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Existential Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman Method, and Motivational Interviewing.

My Christian faith forms the foundation of my practice, and I adopt a biblical worldview.

With NAMI’s help, I seek to remove the stigma of mental illness, to lobby for legislative changes regarding behavioral health issues, and to provide quality, affordable psychiatric care for the Denver metro area.

Who I Help

I work with clients on stress and anxiety, addictions, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, and depression.

I treat Schizophrenia, Bipolar, PTSD, Major Depression, and Anxiety Disorders, and I work with individuals suffering from substance abuse and addiction problems and those with bereavement and grief issues.
